Hill Lists

Lists - you might not like them but there's probably not a hill in the UK that isn't on one list or another. Some people detest the thought of ticking off a list but I find it gives me something to aim for and it's a great way to explore parts of the countryside that I've never seen before.

Hill Lists, an iPhone (and iPad) app from Graham Haley seems to be the only available app designed to keep track of my bagging habits. And it's a cracker of an application.

It covers all of the countries in the UK and seemingly all available lists. Here's a quick run through of some of the features..

Main Screen (Scotland) - Pick your list.

Lists are divided into sections and can be filtered in a variety of ways.

Selecting an individual hill brings up the Details page

Map View - different selections of hills can be shown on the map.

Hill Lists has become an indispensable part of my hill walking kit. Download from iTunes here.
