Navigation

Silva Expedition 4

Time for a refresh of navigation skills on Bennachie..

A refresher day for my Low Hills certificate. Good to brush up on some rusty navigational skills such as pacing, timings, bearings and back-bearings and aspect of slope. Working with Dez from Adventure Scotland, we spent the day on Bennachie and stayed (mostly) dry. A cosy stop in a storm shelter just off the summit of Mither Tap made for a pleasant lunch break.
